The Tijuana Flats Just In Queso Foundation’s Fall Campaign Will Benefit Breast Cancer Research
Winter Park is lucky to be known as the base of operations and home for Tijuana Flats. The Orlando-based Tex-Mex chain has announced the launch of a six-week long charity campaign in. Tijuana Flats will collaborate with its nonprofit associate, the Just in Queso Foundation. The fundraiser will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) in its mission to make breast cancer a thing of the past, by advancing the most promising research in the world.
The fundraiser will begin on September 19, 2022 and end on Halloween on October 31, 2022. In order to participate, guests at Tijuana Flats will have the option to round up their order total to the next dollar amount. Customers will also be presented with the options of donating in-store or online. If you’d rather purchase a bottle of Limited-Edition Smack Sweet hot sauce, you can support the cause that way as well. 100 percent of all donations from the round up, in-store and online donations, and hot sauce purchases will go to support to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Tijuana Flats Is Making Strides In The World Of Breast Cancer Research
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is the largest private contributor of funds to breast cancer research in the country. The Breast Cancer Research Foundation provides funding for 250 researchers across 14 countries and five continents.
The money raised through the funding campaign will be used in to help support the elimination of breast cancer through healthcare services, lifesaving treatments, and charity care. The Breast Cancer Research foundation, along with the allied efforts of Just In Queso, has helped lower the death rate from breast cancer by over 30% in the last 20 years. This resulted in a 90 percent five-year survival rate for women ages over 40 that were diagnosed with breast cancer.
