Submit Your Art to the Orlando Museum of Art

The Orlando Museum of Art is collaborating with AIA Orlando and exhibition artists JEFRË. Artists can submit artwork to the Orlando Museum of Art. The OMA is hosting a community-based art show that is focused on architecture, urban design, and placemaking.

Artists can submit work from a variety of mediums. These works can be inspired by “existing architecture, imagined structures, and scenes or aspirational designs of what the future of our community might hold.

The chosen artwork will be on display at the 1st Thursday exhibition on November 5, 2020. Winning submissions will be The deadline for submissions is October 18 at 4 pm. Artists can submit their work through this application.

Submission Rules

In order for your work to be considered for the show, there are several submission rules artists must follow. (See the full list of rules on the online application).

  • There is a $25 non-refundable entry fee per artist, per event.
  • Each artist may submit up to three (3) works of art per event unless otherwise indicated.
  • Applications must include title, size, and medium of each piece submitted.
  • Submissions must be completed works of art. Unfinished work will not be considered
  • Applications must include an artist statement. the Associates will provide the final copy for display at the exhibition.

AIA Orlando

AIA Orlando is the  Orlando Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. AIA Orlando is one of the largest AIA chapters in the state of Florida. The chapter consists of over 800 members, including allied and associate members. Their chapter is dedicated to serving its membership by creating opportunities for professional development and fellowship. AIA Orlando is also committed to serving the community and heightening the recognition of our profession to the community, and they consistently encourage all members to become active leaders in the community and the profession through participation in one of the many committees and initiatives that exist within our organization.
