ICE At Gaylord Palms Resort: Experience Chills And Thrills With ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’

Experience Chills And Thrills With ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ With ICE At Gaylord Palms Resort

Experience chills and thrills with ICE at Gaylord Palms Resort. Prepare for an extraordinary holiday experience in Florida! The ICE attraction at Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee has made its return, bringing to life the cherished Christmas classic, “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” Unveiled on November 17, just in time for the festive season, this winter wonderland invites visitors into the magical realm of Peanuts characters and holiday enchantment.

On the same day, the resort introduced the popular Alpine Village, the Snow Factory, and enthralling live entertainment and light displays in the atrium, contributing to an overall festive ambiance. The theme of this year’s ICE attraction pays tribute to the 2016 edition, featuring ice carvings that showcase specially colored Peanuts characters, along with some exciting new additions.

Enhancements To ICE At Gaylord Palms

A notable enhancement to ICE is the metamorphosis of the auditorium into a scene reminiscent of the iconic Peanuts Christmas song. Here, Schroeder serenades while the gang joyfully dances on stage. Thrill-seekers can embrace the excitement of ice slides in this space, with options tailored to both the daring and those seeking a more relaxed experience.

The exterior of the Peanuts school is creatively replicated as a massive ice facade, complete with entrances leading to the ice tunnel locker rooms. Each Peanuts character has their own vibrant locker, adding a whimsical touch to the experience, including the beloved Snoopy.

20,000 Square Feet Of Fun

Spanning 20,000 square feet with a chilly 9-degree temperature, the attraction offers a captivating walkthrough of the 1965 animated film. Highlights include Snoopy’s illuminated doghouse, Lucy’s iconic psychiatrist stand, a Peanuts ice skating rink, Linus explaining the true meaning of Christmas, and the grand finale featuring the entire gang singing around Charlie Brown’s new tree.

Dress Warmly

For Floridians, braving the 9-degree exhibit temperature requires dressing warmly. Gaylord Palms provides thick blue parkas to all ICE guests, but it’s recommended to bring gloves with touchscreen-friendly fingertips, warm socks, and a beanie or hat for additional warmth.

Ensure your phone is fully charged before entering to capture the magic, as the chilly temperatures inside can quickly drain your battery. Don’t miss the chance to capture numerous pictures in each captivating room of ICE at Gaylord Palms, preserving enduring memories of this frosty holiday spectacle.
