Giordano’s The recipe for Giordano’s famous stuffed pizza has evolved for more than 200 years, first originating in a small northern town in Italy near Torino. From there, Italian immigrants moved to Chicago and started their own pizza business. Introducing the stuffed pizza at the first Giordano’s in the historic south side. Today, true to their Windy City roots, they offer authentic deep-dish, stuffed pies and thin crust pies. Each with zesty tomato sauce and flavorful, fresh, hand-selected ingredients.

Antica Pizzeria and Mozzarella Bar

Owner and pizzaiolo Pier Giorgio Quintero is a purist when it comes to making Neapolitan pies. Of course, that means using finely milled Caputo Tipo “00” flour to make a dough that’s fermented for 72 hours before being stretched, topped, and fired in a 770-degree wood-fired Mugnaini oven for 100 seconds. The result? Gorgeous, gattopardo-spotted pies of the highest order.

Antonella’s Pizzeria

360 W Fairbanks Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789

Phone: 407-960-2160

Antonella Paradiso exudes a whole lot of passion and familial pride in her humble little Winter Park operation, and it’s easy to see why. Her husband, Francesco, is the pizzaiolo charged with feeding the hordes of Rollins College students who come to devour slices of New York-style pizza, many of which are gone in a New York minute. They also come for the hefty calzones and solid strombolis.

Pizza Bruno

3990 Curry Ford Rd, Orlando, FL 32806

Phone: 407-270-6833

Bruno Zacchini got this city jacked for Neo-Neapolitan-style pies as round hounds lost their minds over model margaritas and pizzas with intriguing topping combinations. Combos like barrel-aged maple syrup, blueberries, fontina, mozzarella, bacon, and guanciale. Zacchini’s starter dough undergoes an in-house ferment for 48 hours! All before being pulled, tossed, topped, and red oak-fired at 1000 degrees for 90 seconds resulting in a superbly charred and flavorful crust.

Flippers Pizzeria

Flippers is a local chain that prides itself on using only the freshest, most premium ingredients. Handcrafted dough made with unbleached artisan flour and extra virgin olive oil, all-natural ingredients, and no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Then, the pie is brick-fired to perfection in a 600-degree oven.

The result is fresh, high-quality pizza that ranges from standard to incredibly unique, in a fast, casual environment. The Hog & Honey pie is a surprisingly delicious option with ricotta cheese, Italian sausage, smoked bacon, roasted red peppers, red pepper flakes, fresh mozzarella, and a local raw honey drizzle. Dine-in, carry-out and delivery options are available at all 15 locations across Central Florida.
