Snow Cat Ridge

Snow Cat Ridge

Snow Cat Ridge. It’s going to snow in Tampa this November. Snow cat Ridge, an Alpine Snow Park, is now selling tickets for November 2021.

The one-of-a-kind alpine snow park – Snow cat Ridge – features a massive snow tubing hill, Alpine Village and a ten thousand square foot snow play dome.

Is the snow real?

What is it made of? How do you make snow in Florida? Yes, all of the snow at Snow cat Ridge is 100% real snow. Our snow is only made of only one ingredient: water.

Making snow in Florida requires a lot of magic

Each attraction at Snow cat Ridge is subject to special restrictions. Please visit each attraction page for full details on any age, height, weight, or general access restrictions:

  1. Snowy Slopes
  2. Arctic Igloo
  3. Crystal Ribbon
  4.  Alpine Village
  5.  Eskimo Outpost

The snow tubing hill, Snowy Slopes, is 60-feet-tall and 400-feet-long, with a pair of Magic Carpet lifts that will whisk you and your snow tubes to the top of the hill. You can ride in a single, tandem or family-style tube down Snowy Slopes.

In the Arctic Igloo, you can build snowmen or snow castles out of real snow. It will also have a kid-sized snow hill for little ones. The park will also feature a magical music and light show on Snowy Slopes each evening, visible from the Alpine Village, which features its own Holiday Market.

“Our team has been working very hard over the last few years to bring our alpine snow park to reality.” says Benjamin Nagengast, CEO of Snow cat Ridge. “Snow cat Ridge will be unlike anything anyone has seen before in the Sunshine State and we are incredibly excited to unveil our vision for the new alpine snow park today.”

What type of clothing and shoes should I wear?

Guests must wear appropriate clothing. This is real snow! Snow is wet, cold and slippery. The Arctic Igloo temperatures (being “arctic” and an “igloo”) hover around 30 degrees Fahrenheit.

We recommend wearing warm, water-resistant clothes including gloves and boots. Closed toes secure shoes are required on Snowy Slopes and in the Arctic Igloo. Layering is also recommended, as you might start out cold and then gradually warm up as you play in the snow. You may also consider bringing a change of clothing.

Socks are required to rent ice skates at the Crystal Ribbon. Socks are available for purchase at the gift shop. If you don’t own any winter clothing, Snow cat Ridge sells basic snow gear like hats, gloves and sweaters.

Do you serve food, drinks and alcoholic beverages?

Yes. There will be for sell a full complement of food, beverages, beer and wine. Please note that state law does not allow customers to bring alcohol onto our property. Additionally, we do not allow admission into our facility or attractions if you are intoxicated.
