Saddle Up Is Supposed To Close But Will Remain Open A Little Longer

Saddle Up is supposed to close but will remain open a little longer. The popular country-themed bar Saddle Up will stay put in downtown Orlando for a little while longer. The management has confirmed this with local sources.

The Saddle Up general manager Michael D’Esposito told local sources that the bar will not shut its doors as soon as previously announced on Saddle Up’s social media channels. However, it is unknown how long their doors will remain open.

“The future is still being worked out, but the doors will remain open for now,” management said.

What’s Next For Saddle Up?

While Saddle Up’s management team focus’ on exploring other leasing options, its future in downtown remains unclear. But the main point for its Orlando customer, management told local sources, is that the bar’s not done yet.

The team doesn’t have any official closing dates to share at the moment, but the bar will remain open through the month of July, management told local sources.

You Still Have Some Time To Saddle Up

Saddle Up first announced in late June that it would be shutting down the first weekend in July of this year after a decade of serving drinks at its downtown location at 100 N. Orange Ave. The “All-American Bar” has long been a popular hangout for college students and Orlando’s hard-partying nightlife crowd.

Saddle Up’s first closing announcement came amid an influx of Orlando spots closing their doors, like bar and restaurant Neon Beach, which lately announced its closure after only a few years in business. Concert destination Ace Cafe also announced a shutdown recently, after six years in downtown Orlando.
