Chicago’s Potbelly Sandwich Works to open a new location at Colonial Landing. From the soothing, melty cheese of a toasted sandwich made with care, to classic pics of Jimi Hendrix nailing a guitar solo at Woodstock, Potbelly Sandwich Works is an all-around fun place to be. The Potbelly Sandwich Shop is a first-class dive. A place to take a break from the world. Sure, they claim to make the best toasted sandwiches in all the universe. But they serve every sandwich with a smile. That’s easy when you love what you do as much as Potbelly does. Making people extremely happy with satisfying food, from their toasty sandwiches, soups, salads, fresh-baked cookies, and hand-scooped milkshakes.

Toasted sandwich king, Potbelly Sandwich Works, will be opening a location at Colonial Landing shopping plaza soon, at 2714 E. Colonial Drive and although we don’t have any opening dates just yet, it is rumored that we will see six Potbelly Sandwich Works across Central Florida within the next seven years.
More About Potbelly Sandwich Works
The Chicago-based sandwich kingdom was launched in 1977 and focuses on its signature hot subs, salads, macaroni and cheese, soups, coffee, shakes, and breakfast sandwiches. The name was inspired by the original potbelly stove that was used to toast the sandwiches at the first location.
In 1996, the shop was purchased and ownership switched hands. It was then that the shop grew from the 1 sandwich shop that locals loved to over 250 locations that the nation now enjoys on a daily basis.
