All About the 2020 Florida Film Festival

The 2020 Florida Film Festival is almost here, and this time, it will have a virtual component to it. Unfortunately, The Florida Film Festival had to postpone the event earlier this year due to COVID-19. Florida Film Festival runs from August 7-20 and tickets and virtual passes are now on sale. The virtual portion of Florida Film Festival will run August 8-20.

Two Weeks of Film Festival Fun

Florida Film Festival will showcase over 175 films over a span of 14 days. There will be a total of 88 women filmmakers at this year’s lineup. This is the most ever in the festival’s 29-year history. Attendees can watch these mind-blowing films at the Enzian Theater or virtually online.

Enzian presents The Florida Film Festival. The Enzian is Central Florida’s full-time, not-for-profit alternative cinema. They seek to entertain, inspire, educate, and connect the community through film.

What To Watch Out For

With over 175 films featured at the Florida Film Festival, there are too many great picks. There are a plethora of categories and genres to choose from. Festival-goers will find films from genres such as action, comedy, drama, experimental, horror, sci-fi, and thriller.
