Tikka Bowls and Tacos Secures Incentives to Open Downtown
Tikka Bowls and Tacos, a unique new restaurant concept, has received financial support from the Community Redevelopment Agency to open its latest location in downtown Orlando.
Financial Support for Tikka Bowls and Tacos
Thanks to the CRA’s DTO Restaurant Program, Tikka Bowls and Tacos will receive up to $400,000 for necessary improvements to its new space at 255 S. Orange Avenue, Suite 109, previously occupied by Swalstead Jewelers. The grant also includes $50,000 for rent assistance and $25,000 to improve outdoor seating. These incentives are designed to help bring new dining options to the downtown core.
A Flavorful Menu at Tikka Bowls and Tacos
Tikka Bowls and Tacos, a franchise with existing locations in Jacksonville and Arlington, Texas, will offer a menu that features tacos and grain bowls, along with an array of South Asian-inspired dishes. Expect curries, biryanis, wings, naan, samosas, and chaat, providing a bold fusion of flavors that sets this restaurant apart. The new downtown Orlando space will offer seating for 16 guests in a cozy, 817-square-foot setting.
Opening Soon in Downtown Orlando
With renovations in progress, Tikka Bowls and Tacos plans to open its doors sometime in the coming year. The restaurant’s opening reflects Orlando’s ongoing efforts to invigorate the downtown area with diverse and exciting dining options.
