69th annual Winter Park “Ye Olde Hometown” Christmas Parade
Mark your calendar for The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the 69th annual Winter Park “Ye Olde Hometown” Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 9am – 10:30am. The event has been held each December for more than 67 years, making it the oldest continuous holiday parade in Central Florida.

The Mummers Parade in Philly
The Mummers Parade begins at City Hall and continues south to Washington Avenue. While the performers put on a show throughout the entire shindig. Three special performance areas are designated along South Broad Street, also known as the Avenue of the Arts. Judging takes place at 15th Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard.
Mummers are Philadelphia’s of all ages who belong to more than 40 organized clubs that make up the parade participants.
The clubs, split into five categories. Comics, Wench Brigades, Fancies, String Bands and the Fancy Brigades. Function mainly to stage their playful performances on New Year’s Day. But Mummers do perform at other events throughout the year, and for many Philadelphia-area families, Mummery is a tradition that spans generations.
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is back in a big way! After a smaller 2020 parade that was more of a made-for-TV event. The traditional parade is back in action for 2021. This year, in addition to the larger-than-life balloons and classic floats. You can expect performances from Carrie Underwood, Kelly Rowland, Kristin Chenoweth, Andy Grammar, the cast of “Girls5eva” and more.
NBC has announced performances from Carrie Underwood, the K-pop group aespa, Jimmie Allen, Jon Batiste, the “Blue’s Clues” hosts, Kristin Chenoweth, Darren Criss, Jordan Fisher, Foreigner. The cast of Peacock’s “Girls5eva” (Sara Bareilles, Renée Elise Golds berry, Paula Pell, Busy Philipps), Andy Grammer, Mickey Guyton, Chris Lane. Miss America Camille Schrier, the cast of “Sesame Street,” Nelly, Kim Petras, Kelly Rowland, Rob Thomas, Tai Verdes, Zoe Wees, and Tauren Wells.
Hard Rock Winter fest Boat Parade
The Seminole Hard Rock Winter fest Boat Parade will stage on the New River in downtown Fort Lauderdale, along the docks west of Stranahan House to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
The Parade starts at Stranahan House traveling East along the New River in Fort Lauderdale to the Intra-coastal Waterway. As it continues North to Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano Beach. It’s 12 Miles from the “Best Show on H20.” The Parade takes approximately 2 and 1/2 hours to view from one location. (starting locations stagger as you travel north).
Private boats to the giant showboats and corporate mega yachts will be adorned with hundreds of thousands of lights, music, entertainment, decorations, celebrities, musical groups, beauty queens. With many other exciting entries expected to be viewed by over one million spectators. Boat entry fees start at ONLY $35.
