Rotary Club Of College Park To Host Taste Of College Park At Southern Box Co. Food Hall This Fall
The Rotary Club of College Park is excited to host its popular Taste of College Park event this October, and this year, it’s moving to a new location. After many successful years at Dubsdread Golf Course, the event will now take place at the newly opened Great Southern Box Co. Food Hall in The Packing District. This change in venue is sure to bring a fresh and dynamic atmosphere to the event.
Taste of College Park is a festive evening filled with food, wine, and entertainment. Attendees can enjoy a wide selection of offerings from local vendors who will compete in categories like Best Entrée, Best Dessert, and Best Presentation. The event also features live and silent auctions, creating an opportunity for guests to enjoy great food while supporting important causes.
Highlights Of The Rotary Club Of College Park’s Taste Of College Park
Tickets for the Taste of College Park will be available starting August 29. The online silent auction, open to the public, begins on September 10 and will close on the night of the event at 8:30 p.m. Guests can expect a vibrant evening of community engagement, with plenty of chances to savor the best dishes College Park has to offer.
Since 2003, the Rotary Club of College Park has raised about $500,000 through this event, benefiting both local and international initiatives. Last year, the club distributed $40,000 to organizations like The PolioPlus Initiative of Rotary International, The Christian Service Center of Central Florida, and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, among others.
