Paper Goat Post To Close Shop By Year-End
After nearly a decade of serving the Orlando community, Paper Goat Post will close its storefront by the end of the year. Known for its whimsical stationery, unique gifts, and custom party decorations, this sister-owned shop has been a favorite destination for locals.
Paper Goat Post first opened in Ivanhoe Village before moving to a larger location at 4875 New Broad Street in Baldwin Park in 2022. Despite their efforts to grow, the owners announced last week that they had accepted an offer to terminate their lease, citing changes in the retail landscape. “Given the direction retail has gone in the past year, we knew this was the right decision for ourselves and our families,” they shared.
The Future of Paper Goat Post
Paper Goat Post plans to remain open in Baldwin Park until the end of the year before transitioning to a mail-order model. While details are still forthcoming, the shop’s new direction reflects the need to adapt to today’s retail challenges while continuing to serve its dedicated customer base.
In their announcement, the owners expressed deep appreciation for the community that supported them throughout their journey. “Owning a storefront has been full of the highest highs and the lowest lows. We made our dream of being business owners come true… shared in so many of your celebrations, and were honored and recognized along the way.”

They left a heartfelt reminder to prioritize local businesses. “Always support local. The way we lift each other up as a community makes all the difference. Without your support, many small businesses will face tough decisions earlier than expected.”
Although Paper Goat Post’s physical store will close, its commitment to creativity and connection will live on. Be sure to stop by before the year ends and keep an eye out for updates on their upcoming mail-order offerings.
Paper Goat Post has been a beacon of inspiration and celebration, and while this chapter is ending, a new one is just beginning.
