Nostalgia Smells Like Pizza And Breadsticks, Fazoli’s To Return To Orlando
Nostalgia smells like pizza and breadsticks! Fazoli’s is making a return to Orlando. Nostalgic 1990s-famous Italian chain, Fazoli’s is making a comeback to Orlando after a long 15-year gap, and now we have a timeline for reopening.
The chain is owned by Fat Brands which also owns Johnny Rockets and Twin Peaks among others. Fat Brands has decided to bring the chain back to Orlando, as reported by local sources back in May. Earlier this week other local sources spotted that the chain sent out a news release and have an expected opening in late August or early September.
Where Will The New Fazoli’s Be Located?
It has been announced that the new Fazoli’s location will be at 4201 E. Colonial Drive, which is a spot previously occupied by Boston Market before its closed down in September of 2022.
Created back in 1988, Fazoli’s popularity bloomed in the 1990s, becoming the go-to spot for fast-casual Italian fare. However, in 2008 the Italian restaurant left Central Florida, and all Fazoli’s locations in a handful of other states, as well as Florida, closed.
The Comeback Of The Century
Fazoli’s has been making a comeback over the last couple of years. Fazoli’s is still opening new locations across the country. There are currently 220 locations up and running in almost 30 states. The upcoming Orlando Fazoli’s will be the sixth comeback version Fazoli’s in the state of Florida. If you can’t wait for the Orlando opening, there’s a new Fazoli’s in Clermont, which is the closest location in Central Florida.
