Orlando events coming up in 2021
This year is going to be big! So let’s make this year better let’s make it better with all of these fun and exciting new events. Hope with us down into the rabbit hole in the botanical gardens, or maybe get some yummy festival food and art at the Credele family festival. No matter what you decide to do this year, why not make it a year of fun to remember with your family?
Down The Rabbit Hole
Are you ready to follow Alice as she falls into wonderland? This event will be held from February 6 2021 through March 14, 2021. Located at the magical Mead Botanical Gardens of Orlando. Down the Rabbit Hole is a theatrical journey unfolding as guests follow Alice through the botanical gardens. Upon arrival, guests meet Alice at the route’s starting place in limited groups of 10-15 and explore the gardens where they encounter all their favorite characters like the Mad Hatter, the Caterpillar, the Queen of Hearts, and also some new ones. Circus arts, dance, music, and theater come together to put guests right in the middle of this beloved story.
Partnered with director Donald Spencer from Modern Theatricals, this is not something you going to want to miss out on. Presented by Massey Services and the creators of “Dazzling Nights”, “Bright Young Things” and the annual IMMERSE Festival in Orlando. Down the Rabbit Hole brings Mead Botanical Garden to life with brilliant costumes, theatrical lighting, special effects, and a fantastic musical soundtrack. The outdoor adventure is designed to ensure social distancing and safety amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and visitors age five and older will be required to wear masks.
“We are very excited to present our newest experience ‘Down the Rabbit Hole’, which will undoubtedly be a magical adventure for everyone,” says Creative City Project Executive Director, Cole NeSmith. “It has been our goal since the onset of Covid-19 to continually create safe, memorable, inspiring, spectacular events for audiences of all ages. We are thrilled following the massive success of Dazzling Nights to transform Mead Botanical Garden into Wonderland and showcase amazing Central Florida talent, thanks to our partners at Massey Services, and we look forward to everyone taking an unforgettable trip ‘Down the Rabbit Hole’ with us.”

February 6 – March 14, 2021 (Wednesday through Sunday). To ensure the safety of guests, the timed entry will take place from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in limited groups of 10-15.
CrealdeSchool of Art Family Festival
Are you ready to get your hands a little messy this new year? Then this is the festival for you. March 7, 2021, come on out to Crealde school of art‘s lakeside campus in Winter Park FL. Just 15 minutes north of downtown Orlando. Enjoy this free, family-friendly day of fun, art, and play. Activities include hands-on art workshops, such as Plein-air pastel painting, darkroom photography, clay sculpting, and printmaking, as well as pony rides, face painting, and a bounce house for kids.

New for 2021, the magically melodic Voices of Liberty will take to the stage at America Gardens Theatre with a brand-new showcase — The Disney Songbook. As they perform a variety of favorite Disney songs, the group will also be celebrating the artistry of Disney composers and lyricists.
You’ll even be able to enjoy a high-energy, onstage performance by a Guest visual artist painting favorite Disney Characters. In just minutes, watch colorful Disney images magically appear before your eyes. Also part of Park admission, there are many more artful sights, surprises, and unique experiences to explore:
Grab a paintbrush and help bring the giant paint-by-number mural to life. Learn how to draw some of your favorite Characters from Disney artists at the Animation Academy (offered twice each day). Step into some of the most famous and admired artworks from around the world in Artful Photo Ops.
Discover amazing art galleries throughout World Showcase. Enjoy artful interpretations of Disney Characters. Explore intriguing art techniques of cultures near and far. Purchase favorite works. And so much more. For those with an appetite for the culinary arts, you can feast on artistic dishes with a delicious Disney twist; sample art-inspired menus at the many Food Studios; and find lots of other fun food diversions to sink your teeth into.
Frontyard Festival: Keb’ Mo’

Over the past two decades, Keb’ Mo’ has cultivated a reputation as a modern master of American roots music, through the understated excellence of his live and studio performances. The list of artist collaborations comprises a who’s who in the music industry and includes Bonnie Raitt, Taj Mahal, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Jackson Browne, Natalie Cole, Lyle Lovett, India Arie, James Cotton, Bobby Rush, Timothy B. Schmit, Marcus Miller and many more. His guitar playing has garnered him two invites to Eric Clapton’s acclaimed Crossroads Festival.
SheBelieves Cup
March 5, 2021
U.S. Soccer is launching its most expansive SheBelieves campaign in history in multiple cities this March, including Orlando. Home to MLS’ Orlando City Soccer Club and the NWSL’s Orlando Pride teams, Exploria Stadium in downtown Orlando will host a SheBelieves doubleheader, with Spain vs. Japan at 4:15 p.m. and the USA vs. England at 7 p.m.
