Tai Chi Flow Workshop

February 24 @ 11:30 am

Tai Chi Flow Workshop

At this Tai Chi Flow Workshop, join in with this meditation in motion – it’s perfect for beginners because all you must do is do what you see. Come Follow-the-Leader. Tai Chi is non-competitive, non-aggressive and a self-paced program that doesn’t require physical strength, agility, or flexibility to begin. Participants gain strength and flexibility through their practice. Standing or seated or alternate between. You choose. Everyone can practice Tai Chi! Embrace your mild side!

Tai Chi focuses on balance, coordination, breath, proprioception, and mindful meditative movements. It supports the body to health and to improve itself through repetitive gentle movements. This gentle form of exercise can help maintain strength, flexibility, mobility, and balance. Tai Chi has been proven to improve cardiovascular fitness, lower blood pressure, prevent falls, decrease stress, and help people who have arthritis. Tai Chi could be the perfect activity for the rest of your life!

Traditional Tai Chi uses training methods that maintain the unique characteristics of early Tai Chi Chuan with its requirements in very precise practice and application, but in Tai Chi Flow, sessions are conducted in a follow-the-leader, no stress to learn style. This allows you to benefit from the very first session without having to focus on analyzing, learning, and stressing.

Other martial arts teach us how to hurt each other. Tai Chi teaches us how to heal each other. Other martial arts speak of aggression. Tai Chi speaks of compassion. Other martial arts are rooted in violence. Tai Chi is rooted in benevolence. Other martial arts focus on human conflict and combat. But, in Tai Chi we fight disease and pain, and we combat depression, aging and death.

Please come with an open mind. Wear comfortable clothing. $25 Due to limited space, we ask you to reserve your spot in advance to insure you have a guaranteed place. No Refunds. Paypal Here
