Register for the Experimental Drawing Workshop – Winter 2024 at Art & History Museums of Maitland. This is a 2-day workshop that spans 2 consecutive weekends, running from 10am-2pm on Saturday the 14th and 24th of February.
Explore the possibilities of drawing from the observation of what surrounds us, expanding the limits of traditional drawing, using different techniques, materials, surfaces, and formats. Learn to observe what surrounds us. Communicate ideas and emotions through drawing experimentation using new techniques, materials and formats.Lose fear of the blank sheet, and produce a short series of drawings. Learn about contemporary artists who use drawing as a means of expression.
