It’s fun for the whole family as well as a cheap (or free) holiday event. Luckily, the Orlando area is home to plenty of ideal shows, events and attractions with Christmas sparkle plenty. Dazzling Nights at Leu Gardens


Leu Gardens | 1920 N. Forest Ave., Orlando

Leu Gardens is transformed into a “Winter Wonderland”. Creative City Project has been the lead in this transformation. See the gardens lit up with twinkle lights, sparkles and holiday fun. Guests will be able to view spectacular themed areas that provide ample photo opportunities. Dazzling Nights at Leu Gardens runs from Nov 24 through Jan 6. The star of the show is a 30-foot tall Christmas tree with interactive lights that sparkle when you step on them.

A Merry Winter Garden Light Show


300 W. Plant St., Winter Garden

Stop by Winter Garden’s downtown center and view the main street covered in wreaths, lights, trees and more. Ring in the holiday season with this cozy holiday display. From now through the holidays, there will be festive farmer’s markets, a golf cart Christmas parade, and horse drawn carriage tours.

Lake Nona’s ‘Oh, What Fun’ Holiday Festival

  During this festival, Lake Nona transforms into a Winter Wonderland – complete with Peppermint Square and a calendar full of celebrations and events. This is all at Lake Nona Town Center on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from December 7-23. Holiday magic awaits the whole family at Central Florida’s favorite holiday event. Enjoy different entertainment the whole family will love, each night of Oh, What Fun!

Christmas in Mount Dora

Keep the celebration going throughout the entire month of December with all the festivities in Mount Dora. With activities like Snow in the Park, the Lighted Boat Parade and Christmas at the Market, there are plenty of ways to remain cheery and bright through the season.

Give Kids the World Village

Hosted at the 89-acre village, Give Kids The World holiday events offer guests the chance to enjoy escorted access to select venues on the Avenue of Angels, view a dazzling tree trail, explore holiday vignettes and take festive photos.
