The Fringe Festival has begun!
The 30th annual collection of freewheeling, unconventional theatrical productions known as the Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival will surely raise our collective and cooped-up spirits when it returns to Loch Haven Park, May 18-31.

So, What exactly is Fringe?
To put it into one word, fringe is “Unique”. The Orlando Fringe Festival is a 14-day immersive cultural experience held annually in mid-May, featuring 850 ticketed theatrical performances and a free outdoor music festival. The Orlando Fringe Festival Is a completely free zone. A safe space for you to be whoever it is you are or want to be. All without judgment. There is no such thing as the word “Judgement” When you are at Orlando Fringe.
The Festival is committed to having a respectful, safe environment for everyone. Free from any harassment, violence, bullying, discrimination, and any other kinds of abuse. All community members are to be treated with respect and dignity. The Festival provides opportunities for everyone that contributes and participates in all events and activities or behaviors that discriminate on the grounds of race, gender, age, marital status, religious beliefs, citizenship, mental and physical abilities, or sexual orientation.

Do not forget to also grab your fringe pin. You will not be able to enter your show without one. Available at the box office and merch tables. They can be used over and over again. They are one of the two things needed for admission to a show, and they make you look really cool.
Loch Haven Park
Loch Haven Park serves as the main campus for the festival, though in recent years programming has expanded to venues in nearby Ivanhoe Village and Winter Park. The festival unites local, national, and international artists with the Central Florida community, creating a uniquely diverse art experience.

This is the main hub of activity for the festival. This is where you will find The Lowndes Shakespeare Center, The Orlando Museum of Art and, The Orlando Repertory Theatre. In the green lawn of the park, you will find our famous Beer Tent, Booze tent, FREE Outdoor Stage, numerous food vendors, and more. Alcoholic beverages purchased on the lawn may not leave the fenced lawn area.

This building houses the majority of Fringe Venues. You will also find our main festival box office, Visual Fringe, and a beer tent in the courtyard. Alcoholic beverages purchased in the courtyard may not leave the Lowndes Shakespeare Center.

Kids Fringe Festivals
Kids Fringe is a free festival for kids and families that takes place during the weekends of the Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival. Fringe Winter Mini-Mini fest takes place during the Orlando Fringe Winter Mini-Fest. Enjoy live performances, workshops, and immersive activities aimed at the young and young-at-heart.
Campy camp
Kids and parents have raved about our summer camp program. Aimed at Rising K, 1st, and 2nd graders, our campers love this super-fun boutique summer camp experience. Days are filled with storytelling, dance parties, nature walks, theatrical movement, and most of all… play!
