Small Food Group Introduces New Eateries To East End Market

Small Food Group, a creative endeavor by Domu Dynasty, is stepping into the space once occupied by Skyebird Juice Bar at East End Market. This change brings new excitement to the market as Small Food Group launches two distinct and innovative dining options.

“Skyebird Juice Bar was a beloved part of East End Market for over a decade, and while we’ll miss it, this shift gives us a chance to infuse new life into the market,” Ashley Coggins told local sources. “We’re eager to see how these new concepts will elevate our offerings.”

East End Market Host Two Unique Concepts

The East End Market space will now host two unique concepts: Rion’s Ocean Room and Gyukatsu Rose. Rion’s Ocean Room, situated next to Gideon’s Bakehouse, will feature a walk-up seafood counter with a selection of 8-12 poke varieties made fresh daily. Customers can select their poke by the 1/4 pound, 1/2 pound, or full pound, served over rice, with additional choices like krab salad, uni, and wakame salad.

Gyukatsu Rose, located near Lineage Coffee Roasting, will offer an exclusive dining experience with seating for just 10 guests. The menu will highlight Japanese gyukatsu—crispy, breaded beef cutlets served on a hot stone grill.

Rion’s Ocean Room is expected to open this fall at East End Market, with Gyukatsu Rose following in early 2025 after the poke concept is fully established. These new ventures by Small Food Group aim to bring fresh culinary experiences to East End Market, enhancing its already vibrant food scene.

These additions ensure that East End Market remains a top destination for food enthusiasts, offering creative and delicious options that continue to set it apart.

A New Culinary Era At East End Market

The arrival of Rion’s Ocean Room and Gyukatsu Rose signals a fresh wave of culinary innovation at East End Market. Small Food Group’s creative approach not only pays homage to the market’s legacy but also paves the way for exciting, new dining experiences. As East End Market continues to evolve, it remains a must-visit destination for food lovers seeking the next great flavor adventure. Whether you’re a regular visitor or a first-time guest, these new eateries promise to deliver something special, making East End Market an even more vibrant hub for Orlando’s food scene.
