Our meal began with the Aguachile Verde, a dish that immediately set the tone for the evening. This appetizer features perfectly cooked Argentine red shrimp bathed in a vibrant verde sauce. The shrimp, tender and juicy, soak up the wildly flavorful sauce, making this dish an unforgettable start to the meal.
Pulpo Veracruzana
Next up was the Pulpo Veracruzana, a dish that hails from the coastal region of Veracruz. The red wine-marinated octopus, served with hearty potatoes in a rich red sauce, was inherently above other octopus dishes one may expect. Even if you’re not typically a fan of octopus, this tender and flavorful rendition might just change your mind. Short Rib Huarache

It’s easy to see why this dish is a favorite of Chef Wendy—each bite is a testament to her skill and her passion for Mexican cuisine is apparent in this dish.

The Pork Chamorro Tacos were perhaps the most interactive and satisfying dish of the evening. The pork volcano shank, braised to perfection in banana leaves, is shredded tableside and served with fresh corn tortillas, pibil jus, and a simple yet vibrant mix of cilantro and onion. Assembling your own tacos is half the fun, but the real joy comes from the first bite—warm tortillas cradling tender pork, rich jus, and crisp, fresh garnishes. Chocolate Con Mezcal
We ended our meal with the Chocolate Con Mezcal, a dessert that will delight any chocolate lover.
