Revamped Country Bear Jamboree Reopens Next Month At Disney’s Magic Kingdom
Country Bear Jamboree enthusiasts, your favorite musical bears are back! The iconic country-western show at Disney’s Magic Kingdom will reopen on July 17, following a closure that began at the end of January.
The Country Bear Jamboree has been refreshed with a new setlist and updated costumes for its beloved bear characters, who have been entertaining guests for over 50 years. This updated show will blend the classic charm with new renditions of songs from Disney animated movies, all performed in the signature country-western style.
Gone are the days of hearing “Mama, Don’t Whip Little Buford,” “Blood on the Saddle,” and “All the Guys That Turn Me On Turn Me Down.” The new show will feature country-style versions of Disney favorites like “Bare Necessities” from The Jungle Book and “Try Everything” from Zootopia. Disney assures fans that while the show has evolved, it will still honor the original tunes and the spirit of Nashville’s Opry-style performances.
Experience The New Country Bear Jamboree
The reopening of the Country Bear Jamboree is just in time for the peak summer season at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. This long-standing attraction has been a favorite for families seeking entertainment and a cool place to relax. As one of the park’s original attractions, it’s also known for its relatively short wait times, making it a convenient stop for visitors.
In the weeks before its January closure, the Country Bear Jamboree saw a resurgence in popularity, with packed shows and long lines. Fans have been eagerly anticipating its return, and now they can look forward to experiencing the revamped version of this classic show.

Not The Only New Attraction
The Country Bear Jamboree isn’t the only new attraction at Magic Kingdom this year. Frontierland is also getting a major update with the transformation of one of its attractions into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, set to open on June 28. Moreover, Disney is planning further expansions beyond Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, all part of a $17 billion investment in their Florida parks.
Additional updates include a revamp of Animal Kingdom’s DinoLand U.S.A., a new Pirates of the Caribbean lounge at Magic Kingdom, a refreshed Test Track at Epcot, and The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure at Hollywood Studios.
With these exciting changes, the Country Bear Jamboree remains a standout attraction. Be sure to catch its grand reopening on July 17 and enjoy the new musical adventure with your favorite country bears.
