Orlando is set to unveil a refreshing array of spectacular events, shows, and experiences in 2022 giving you new reasons to visit Orlando. This includes a new theme park, a theater with perfect acoustics, options for dining, and a highly anticipated hotel that will beam you to another galaxy. This is our guide to the newest reasons to visit Orlando in 2022! Depending on the time of year that you visit, some of these experiences may be temporarily modified to fit the context of the season.

Steinmetz Hall

A highly anticipated experience, Steinmetz Hall, opened at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in the middle of downtown Orlando in January of 2022. The N1 sound rating is the lowest level at which humans can detect sound. It just so happens that our wonderful, new, hall boasts the N1 sound rating. This means you’ll be able to hear performances unlike ever before. Steinmetz Hall held a two-week Grand Celebration during its initial opening. Performances featured the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, superstars like Lyle Lovett, and the best Orlando’s performing arts scene has to offer, with much more on deck for 2022 and the immediate future.

Cirque Du Soleil: Drawn To Life

The new Cirque Du Soleil show at Disney Springs “Drawn to Life” presents a combination of Disney animation and baffling performances, this includes 10 highly unique acrobatic acts. This is the first-ever collaboration between Cirque du Soleil and the Disney brand, making it one of your new reasons to visit Orlando.

Another New Reason To Visit Orlando Is Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Project

Another new reason to visit Orlando is coming to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in March of 2022. The 50,000 square-foot, the multi-level attraction will attribute a showcase of NASA and commercial spacecraft with immersive displays. You can even take your own “journey” through space. There are one in a million launch viewing opportunities among other positive attributes. The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is on the east coast of Florida and lies about an hour from the main tourist districts.

Art²

Art², also known as Art Squared, is an urban park that will be gracing downtown Orlando with its presence in the of spring 2022. Occupying a 2-story structure made from shipping containers, the park will offer a cafe, art gallery, stage, digital video walls, and even a gift shop. They will also offer an artificial turf courtyard, a concrete patio, picnic tables, hammocks, and two food truck spaces for all our foodies in Orlando.

Orlando Has New Places To Stay

Walt Disney World Swan Reserve

Walt Disney World Swan Reserve is a 14-story hotel with 349 rooms. They opened at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in the latter half of 2021. The property is only a short walk to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. The Swan Reserve offers meeting rooms with rooftop terraces, a restaurant, and a full-service health club. They also baost a 90-foot-long pool, and many other amenities, making it a perfectly good new reason to visit Orlando.
