Milk District To Host Community Design Meeting For Future Planning
The Milk District is set to host its third annual Milk District Design Charrette this month, starting with a kickoff event on August 27 at 6:30 p.m. at the Atrium Management Company offices, located at 201 S. Bumby Avenue. This event offers a unique chance for the community to come together and help shape the future of the Milk District.
Community Engagement In The Milk District
The Milk District Main Street invites architects, designers, planners, landscape architects, artists, and anyone with creative ideas to participate in this visioning process. Whether you’re joining as an individual or part of a team, your ideas are welcome. The charrette is designed to be an interactive and collaborative experience, allowing participants to contribute their thoughts on how to enhance the Milk District.
This event will be a creative and engaging platform where participants can share ideas, create sketches, and discuss improvements to the Milk District. As one of Orlando’s most diverse neighborhoods, this is a key opportunity for the community to influence its future development.
Presenting Ideas For The Future Of The Milk District
Following the Thursday kickoff, participants will have time to develop their ideas, which will be presented on Tuesday, August 27 at 6:30 p.m. at the Southern Nights Theater, located at 375 S. Bumby Avenue. This presentation will showcase the concepts generated during the charrette and open the floor for further discussion on how these ideas can be brought to life in the Milk District.
The Milk District Design Charrette is not just a one-time event but a chance for the community to actively engage in planning the future of this vibrant neighborhood. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to share your ideas and help guide the direction of the Milk District.
