Disney World is getting ready for its highly anticipated Halloween festivities with the return of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom. Returning from August 11 to November 1 on certain nights, this beloved annual event promises a pleasant smorgasbord of creative and slightly spooky treats that have made it one of Disney’s most popular gatherings. In spite of ticket prices ranging from $109 to $199 per person, the appeal of the party makes it a must-attend event.

In addition to the traditional trick-or-treating and character meet-and-greets, guests can enjoy live entertainment from the Hocus Pocus witches and the enchanting Boo to You Halloween parade. However, the real climax of this year’s party is the brand-new menu of specialty treats that will delight visitors of all ages.

Just A Few Of The New Not-So-Scary Treats


At Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies, the Apple Fritter Milkshake takes highlights the menu, featuring a lip-smacking blend of salted caramel milkshake topped with green apple whipped cream and an apple fritter. For chocolate lovers, the MMMummy Treat at Cheshire Cafe is a flaky pastry filled with succulent chocolate hazelnut goodness, topped with white icing stripes and sugar eyes. The Queen of Hearts Slushy, a frozen cherry slushy drizzled with black cherry puree, whipped cream, and crown-shaped chocolate (non-alcoholic), is also available during regular park hours.

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe lures guests with the Terrifyin’ Twice-Spiced Chicken Sandwich, a fried chicken breast dipped in hot honey, topped with pepper jack cheese, jalapeño poppers, and bacon. The Snarling Sub, a tantalizing meatball sub with spicy marinara, pesto, and pearl mozzarella “teeth” on a black sub roll, is a must-try. The eerie Zombie Fingers, almond cookie fingers with Key lime pie white chocolate ganache, salted caramel crisp pearls, and sugar eyes, are sure to fascinate daring eaters. To quench their thirst, guests can enjoy the refreshing non-alcoholic River Styx Elixir, a kiwi lemonade with luster dust.

Not-So-Scary Offers More And More Treats


While Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party claims an array of new delicacies, guests can also enjoy returning favorites, including Witches Cold Brew and Mickey-shaped cinnamon rolls. And there’s more to look forward to, as Halloween and fall treats are expected to be unveiled at other Disney parks and Disney Springs. In addition, there are even more tasty treats, at other locations, scattered among the park.
