Huge Arcade And Bar Coming to Downtown Orlando
There’s a new, huge arcade and bar coming to Downtown Orlando. Downtown will soon welcome a gigantic arcade and bar situated inside a new 26-story building downtown.
The arcade concept from Velocity Esports will be their first location in Florida, fit for gaming, lounging and video game competitions.
With a whopping 14,788 square foot venue, the arcade and bar will be housed on the first floor of downtown’s Society tower, a mixed-use residential and commercial building that is already being constructed on Orange Ave. in Downtown Orlando.
What Will The Arcade And Bar Offer?
“As part of Velocity Esports’ expansion strategy into Florida, Orlando was the perfect choice with its growing residential population and the opportunity to capitalize on the more than 74 million annual visitors to the region,” Velocity Esports executive chairman Philip N. Kaplan commented in a press release.
The arcade bar will offer a large selection of arcade and table games, esports rooms, bowling, video game tournaments, and more entertaining options, according to the Velocity Esports website. Everyone from casual gamers to serious players is invited to enjoy this new level of fun. Velocity Esports currently has locations open in Las Vegas and along the border of Cincinnati and Kentucky.
One Of The Largest Multifamily Project
“Society Orlando is one of the largest multifamily projects under development in downtown Orlando today providing Velocity Esports with a live-in customer base and continued foot traffic thanks to the building’s central location in the Central Business District,” Carey Jaffee, senior associate at JLL, claimed in the release we mentioned earlier.
The website for Velocity Esports shows the entertainment company serves alcohol and food with menu items like burgers, carne asada tacos, chicken quesadillas, and pizza.
