Hideaway Bar Relocates to New Spot Across the Street This Weekend
This weekend marks the Hideaway Bar’s big move to a new location, just steps away across the street. A longtime favorite among Orlando locals, Hideaway Bar has become known for its relaxed atmosphere and classic American bites. This relocation signals the start of an exciting new phase for the beloved neighborhood spot.
Hideaway Bar Transitions to a Fresh Location
Hideaway Bar was initially the last remaining holdout in a significant development project led by Chance Gordy, the visionary behind The Yard and its latest expansion, The Yard at Brookhaven. Originally, the new project was set to surround the Hideaway Bar’s old location on Virginia Drive. After choosing not to sell at first, the Hideaway’s owner ultimately accepted an offer to relocate just across the street. The Hideaway Bar will serve its last meal in the original spot on Sunday, November 3, and then reopen at its new address the very next day.
What’s in Store at the New Hideaway Bar
For loyal patrons, the Hideaway Bar’s menu and easygoing vibe will remain familiar. All of the favorite dishes will be available, and the team has suggested that menu expansions could be on the horizon as they adjust to their new space. The Hideaway Bar hosted a special Halloween event sponsored by Crown Royal to celebrate this relocation, marking a memorable sendoff to the original site.
With demolition underway on the Hideaway Bar’s former property as part of the Yard at Brookhaven’s expansion, the new Hideaway Bar location will bring a fresh twist to Virginia Drive while keeping the community spirit alive.
For Orlando locals, this move allows the Hideaway Bar to continue being a cherished gathering spot in a new, updated setting—perfect for building new memories while holding onto the same welcoming Hideaway vibe.
