Set to open in Winter Park. Florida, the newest Chicken Guy location will feature a drive-thru. Now, instead of walking a distance through the Disney Springs property or having to go to a mall, guests can simply join the line, order some chicken, and enjoy. From locals just wanting a tasty meal to tourists who are willing to make a special trip, this restaurant should have a good following. Could Triple D be changed to include drive-throughs?
While the chicken sandwich wars seem to be ongoing, this restaurant expansion takes the chicken conversation in a different direction. Although the Fieri name often draws guests to place that first order, the 22 different sauces bring them back time and again. If this location is successful, it begs the question if Chicken Guy will want to take on the Colonel? For now, the Winter Park location, 18 South Orlando.
Mouthwatering Menu
Chicken Guy’s menu, which varies by location, typically includes unique concepts with that Guy Fieri touch. For example, the Disney Springs location menu features the Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ chicken tender sandwich, which merges pepper jack cheese with bourbon brown sugar BBQ sauce, slaw, pickles, and BBQ kettle chips. That location also offers salads, sides such as fried pickle chips, loaded fries and mac n’ cheese; and shakes with flavors such as apple cinnamon cereal and thin double mint.
There will be seating for 80 guests inside the 3,500-square-foot location and seating for 12 outdoors. There will also be reserved parking spaces for third-party delivery services and for those who order their food online.
