Park Avenue and the surrounding Winter Park community offer residents and visitors a variety of activities. From enjoying one of our local parks and exploring a museum, to dining al fresco and attempting to paddleboard, the Park Avenue area is rich in exceptional experiences. Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art

The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art is home to the world’s most comprehensive collection of works by Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848–1933). The Museum’s Tiffany collection includes jewelry, pottery, paintings, art glass, leaded-glass windows and lamps, and the chapel interior the artist designed for the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago.

The newest wing of the Morse Museum, which opened in February 2011, provides long-term public access to a collection of art and architectural objects from Louis Comfort Tiffany’s celebrated Long Island home, Laurelton Hall. The Museum is open to the public Tuesday through Sunday throughout the year with the exception of some major holidays.

Winter Park Farmers’ Market

The Winter Park Farmers’ Market is held at the old train depot which has been restored into a historical landmark. Avenue is a popular place for social events, weddings, and small expos. However, it is most well-known for the weekly Saturday market.

The venue hosts the number one produce and plant market in Central Florida. The market takes place every Saturday morning from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is a popular community-gathering place that provides fine produce, plants, baked goods and so much more.

Winter Park History Museum

Explore the interesting history of Winter Park at the Winter Park History Museum. The Museum collects, preserves, promotes and researches the history of Winter Park and its surrounding area, and shares that history with the public through educational programs and the operation of the museum. The museum is home to many collections of historical items relevant to the Winter Park community and also curates interesting exhibitions of Winter Park history. The Museum is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, throughout the year.

Kraft Azalea

This 5.22-acre public garden is located on the shore of Lake Maitland and is open year-round from 8 a.m. until dusk. Lakefront, secluded and unique, Kraft Azalea is Winter Park’s secret garden! This beautiful park is shaded by enormous cypress trees that add to the old Florida charm of the 13-acre property. The Exedra, pictured below, is ideal for sunset wedding ceremonies.

Lake Baldwin Park

Lake Baldwin Park is a beautiful, shady park that covers 23.16 acres on Lake Baldwin. The park is one of two city parks that boasts a sandy beach. This park is the only park in the city known as “dog-friendly” – dogs may be off-leash during park hours of 8 a.m. to sunset.
Please note: The park is closed every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month until 12 p.m. for maintenance. This area is permanently CLOSED to people for the purpose of swimming.

Lake Baldwin Park offers two pavilions available for reservation, a boat ramp for boats with no gas engines, picnic tables, and restrooms. Acres: 23.16. Amenities: dog park, two pavilions, one boat ramp, one dock, 25 picnic tables, 15 benches, one restroom.

Historic Home, Exquisite Art & Serene Gardens

Explore the inspired world of internationally acclaimed Czech sculptor Albin Polasek. Tour his home, galleries, and sculpture gardens located in the heart of Winter Park on Lake Osceola. At the Polasek, the art and gardens illustrate the life and times of this important artist, and changing exhibitions celebrate a wide range of “art that tells a story.”
