Enjoy an afternoon of celebrating the music of the season with Sanford Jazz Ensemble: Let’s Celebrate Christmas. Vocalist Dianne Garvis will tell us how “You’re A Mean One Mr. Grinch” and Courtney Johnson will take us on a “Sleigh Ride.” The Band will you’re your favorite holiday classics while, “White Christmas” and “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” get the Count Basie treatment. Soulful singer Ron Stark will get you heads bopping to a medley of Lou Rawls tunes, featuring “Lady Love,” “Tobacco Road,” and “You’ll Never Find.” Bring the whole family to this spirited event.
The Sanford Jazz Ensemble is made up solely of community musicians who donate their time and talent to perform live jazz for Central Florida audiences. A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the band relies on those who enjoy the music and donate to keep the SJE “swinging.”
