Let’s Make Some Wine! Come out to CFL Be a Winemaker for a Night Have you ever wondered what it takes to make a great bottle of wine? Join us on Wednesday, May 10th and find out!
Guided by Craig Colagrossi of Colagrossi Wines in Windsor, California, we will taste a finished Cabernet Sauvignon as well as five sample wines. Craig will then walk us through the artful science of how to perfectly blend or “finish” a wine for its bottling and release.
Discovering what pleases our palate and understanding the methodology of wine blending will help us create our own masterpiece. We will then have the opportunity to purchase a bottle of our own personal signature blend from the winery.
We will gather in person at Winter Park Community Center while our host appears remotely to walk us through the process. It is recommended that you bring your own tablet or phone to enhance participation, but it is not required.
Light snacks will be served during the event.

Women For WineSense (WWS) is the premier wine education and networking organization for wine industry professionals and wine aficionados. We believe that wine enhances and enriches everyday life and our goal is to promote the appreciation and responsible enjoyment of wine. With that in mind, we support the success and professional development of women and men in wine and associated industries. WWS is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization.
The mission established in 1994 remains our mission today: to provide educational and relationship building opportunities for wine industry professionals and wine enthusiasts. We have ten chapters across the United States with hundreds of members.
49% are wine industry professionals and 51% are wine aficionados. Each chapter caters to the needs of their members while supporting our common mission. Our chapters host well over 100 events per year ranging from intimate gatherings to learn about a specific wine region or wine style to professional development seminars for 100+ people. Many Women For WineSense chapters contribute thousands of dollars each year in scholarships to women in wine-related fields of study.
