Opera Orlando takes Dvořák’s tragic tale of love, sacrifice, and rejection On the Town to the Art and History Museums of Maitland. You won’t want to miss Antonin Dvořák’s RUSALKA.
Sung in English, the production will star Central Florida soprano Shannon Jennings in the title role, joined by acclaimed tenor Isaac Hurtado as Prince, and Metropolitan Opera soprano Emily Pulley as the witch Ježibaba.
Opera Orlando artistic director Grant Preisser directs this new translation of the show with international music director and pianist Bernard McDonald making his Company debut.
