Next summer, Hollywood Studios will unveil an exciting new Disney Villains Show, set to take over the Sunset Showcase venue. This thrilling live show will bring together many of Disney’s most infamous villains and will replace Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy, which is set to close in October. The creative minds behind Disney Live Entertainment have designed a captivating show, exploring the sinister realm of the Magic Mirror and its evil residents.
Meet Your Favorite Villains In The Disney Villains Show
The Disney Villains Show will feature beloved characters like Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, and Maleficent. Fans can also expect appearances from iconic villains such as Hades, Jafar, the Queen of Hearts, Scar, and Ursula. This new live show promises to deliver an immersive, darkly magical experience, showcasing Disney’s talent for live entertainment and storytelling in an unforgettable way.
Before this new Disney Villains Show debuts, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy will have its final show on October 7. This popular Cars-themed interactive experience, which opened in March 2019, has delighted visitors but will now make way for the exciting new villain-themed production.
Villains-Themed Expansion Coming To Magic Kingdom
The Disney Villains Show is just the beginning of Disney’s plans to embrace its darker side. At this year’s D23 parks showcase, Disney also revealed plans for a new Villains-themed land as part of Magic Kingdom’s Beyond Big Thunder Mountain project. This highly anticipated expansion will be the largest in Magic Kingdom’s history and will include villain-themed attractions, dining, shopping, and more.
With the Disney Villains Show arriving at Hollywood Studios and a whole Villains-themed land on the horizon, Disney World fans can look forward to an exciting new era.
