Dear Prudence Announces Closure of Audubon Park Shop in 2025
The popular Audubon Park boutique Dear Prudence has announced it will close its physical store by February 2025. After 25 years of providing Orlando with eclectic decor, vintage clothing, and unique handmade jewelry, the shop will shut its doors at 2912 Corrine Drive, marking the end of an era for local shoppers.
Why Dear Prudence Is Closing Its Brick-and-Mortar Location
Though Dear Prudence has been a beloved fixture in the Audubon Park community, the decision to close the store comes as part of a shift in the business’s approach. Despite this, the boutique is not disappearing. Dear Prudence will continue its presence at local pop-up events, such as Spooky Empire, and will maintain its online store for those wishing to shop from anywhere.
Dear Prudence Will Still Be Available Online
Although the physical store is closing, customers can still find their favorite vintage items, accessories, and jewelry online, with free shipping on U.S. orders. The closure of the brick-and-mortar shop will not affect the boutique’s loyal following, as Dear Prudence plans to continue offering the same curated selections via its online shop.
The boutique’s final day at the Corrine Drive location will be February 28, 2025, after it wraps up the holiday season. This closing represents a new chapter for Dear Prudence, which will focus its energy on continuing to connect with its community through online shopping and pop-up markets.
While the Audubon Park location may be closing, Dear Prudence’s legacy will live on through its continued online presence and its participation in future local events. This marks the end of a local retail chapter, but the boutique’s spirit remains alive in its future endeavors.
