Dave Chappelle Is Coming To The Amway Center This November
Dave Chappelle, the acclaimed comedian and cultural icon, is scheduled to bring his stand-up comedy act to Orlando’s Amway Center in November, reaffirming his sustained popularity despite controversies surrounding his 2021 special.
Chappelle’s performance, titled “It’s a Celebration, B—,” is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Amway Center. Ticket sales for the event will commence on Friday, Sept. 15, starting at $55.75.
This Orlando show is part of Chappelle’s broader tour, which encompasses several Florida dates. He will grace the Fort Lauderdale Hard Rock Hotel & Casino with a three-night run from Dec. 26 to Dec. 28 and is set to perform at Tampa’s Amalie Arena on Oct. 29.

Recently celebrating his 50th birthday with a star-studded event in New York, Chappelle has faced criticism for certain aspects of his 2021 special, characterized by controversial content. Notably, musician Carlos Santana publicly supported Chappelle despite backlash over his transphobic remarks.
In response to the controversy, Chappelle has pledged to abstain from making jokes about LGBTQ topics in his future performances. Furthermore, audiences attending his upcoming shows can anticipate stringent restrictions on mobile phone usage. Cameras and smartwatches will be secured in Yondr pouches upon arrival and will remain inaccessible until the conclusion of the performance.
For attendees who may require access to their phones during the event, designated Yondr unlocking stations will be available in the lobby. Nevertheless, attendees found with cellphones inside the venue during the show will face immediate ejection.
