City Food Hall Opening Before the Holidays
City Food Hall is preparing to open in Ivanhoe Village this December, bringing a fresh dining experience to the area. Occupying the former Hall on The Yard space, this revitalized venue will offer diverse food options and exciting community programming.
What to Expect at City Food Hall
The new City Food Hall will host nine food vendors, with only two spots left to fill. Among the confirmed names is Taglish, the Filipino food stall by renowned chef Michael Collantes. He’ll also introduce Chez Les Copains, a classic French brasserie located on the second floor. Other featured vendors include Ramen Takagi, EggDose, and Blessed Belly, offering an array of delicious choices.
In contrast to its predecessor, City Food Hall will simplify the dining process. Guests can approach vendors directly, with no reservations, servers, or waitlists required. This change ensures a relaxed and hassle-free experience that’s perfect for casual diners.
Community Events and Activities
The team at City Food Hall is also planning to host a variety of public events in The Yard’s outdoor plaza. Regular farmers’ markets and a valet parking service are among the offerings aimed at enhancing convenience and community engagement. Visitors can get a preview of the space during Ivanhoe Village’s Jingle Eve celebration, a district-wide holiday event happening this weekend.
If you’re interested in joining the food hall as a vendor, there are still two spaces available, and applications are currently being accepted.
Countdown to Opening Day
After completing essential updates and renovations, City Food Hall is set to become a lively addition to Ivanhoe Village. With an impressive lineup of vendors, engaging events, and a customer-focused approach, it promises to be a favorite destination this holiday season.
