Chuy’s Relocates Headquarters To Orlando Following Darden Acquisition
The popular Tex-Mex chain Chuy’s is set to move its headquarters to Orlando after being acquired by the Darden Restaurant Group. Currently, there are three Chuy’s locations in the Orlando area, and the relocation will bring the brand’s main operations under Darden’s Orlando-based management.
Darden Restaurant Group, which also owns well-known brands like Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, and Ruth’s Chris Steak House, recently completed its $605 million purchase of Chuy’s, as reported by the Austin Business Journal. While a specific relocation date has yet to be confirmed, estimates suggest the headquarters move could happen by early 2025.
Chuy’s Move To Orlando: What To Expect
By moving Chuy’s headquarters to Orlando, local fans of the Tex-Mex chain may see an even stronger brand presence and possibly more locations in the area. With the new headquarters under Darden’s Orlando-based operations, the transition is expected to integrate Chuy’s smoothly into Darden’s network, enriching Central Florida’s dining options.
Known for its authentic Tex-Mex flavors and vibrant atmosphere, Chuy’s has built a loyal following. Now, with the support and resources from Darden, Chuy’s could expand its menu innovation, customer experience, and operational reach. For Orlando’s local economy, this headquarters move may bring job openings and strengthen the city’s reputation as a destination for diverse dining experiences.
This shift marks a promising step forward for Chuy’s, with Darden at the helm to support its growth. As Chuy’s prepares for the move to Orlando, the brand is positioned to continue delivering the Tex-Mex flavors fans love while reaching a broader audience. With this relocation, Chuy’s is poised to expand its footprint in Orlando, backed by Darden’s expertise and resources.
