Picking blueberries, sunflowers, strawberries, and peaches at this family farm in Clermont. This local farm has always been synonymous with blueberries. In 2021 the farm also began offering u-pick strawberries, which have returned for the year of 2022. Pick a pound of strawberries for $4 per pound or bring home your own bouquet of freshly picked sunflowers. There are over 40 acres of blueberry bushes on 120 acres of land and 10 varieties to choose from. We’re sure you’ll find something that floats your boat.

For U-Pick customers, you can enjoy fruit picking for 9 months out of the year. This family-owned farm is far enough away from the city for you to truly hone in on your relaxation muscles. JG Ranch is notorious for over having over 60,000 strawberry plants. Make sure you check their Facebook page or call ahead to confirm availability and hours before heading over there.

A Patch Of Blue Blueberry Picking

One of Orlando’s best-kept secrets, A Patch of Blue, is right under your nose just east of Baldwin Park. You can pick strawberries in the first few months of the year, and blueberries beginning in late March or early April. Visit their Facebook Page for daily picking times based on what is in season.

The farm is a little off the beaten path and was established over 70 years ago as a cattle ranch. It became a blueberry farm in 1994 with the planting of a few acres. The farm also offers sunflowers for U-Pick customers. While you’re there, you can typically also buy blueberry plants to take home if you want to try growing your own for a little blueberry patch in your own backyard. You may even be able to open your own U-Pick blueberry farm one day. You’d probably prefer to keep it simple and visit when you need more blueberries though.
