Best brunches of Central Florida
Brunch in Orlando has become so popular, many restaurants are now offering it on Saturdays and Sundays versus the traditional Sunday because of high demand. In Orlando specifically and from experience, people are lining up to get into the best brunch spots in the city, sometimes waiting longer for a brunch seat than a dinner seat.
The Glass Knife
Alice in Wonderland meets Breakfast at Tiffany’s at the Glass Knife in Winter Park. They are well known for their magical desserts, huge hand-crafted donuts made fresh daily, stunning cakes that will make anyone gasp, and of course, their array of menu options. This is one of the most Instagram-worthy spots in Orlando, and they have a great brunch waiting for you!

To experience a French brunch, look no further than Dove Cote. Fun fact, their beautiful walls were hand-painted with blue and golden accents. Maxine’s on Shine
Maxine’s on Shine is a casual restaurant with whimsical ’40s-style decor that serves an eclectic menu for dinner during the week and brunch on the weekends along with regular live music. The brunch menu satisfies diners with biscuits and gravy, wine-lovers boards of delectable cheeses, crab cakes, and bruschetta, and the ever-popular Southern dish of buttermilk marinated, and panko-parmesan crusted fried green tomatoes with a firecracker sauce. Traditional takes on favorite dishes include beef hash, steak and eggs, chicken and waffles, and eggs Benedict along with substantial three-egg omelets with rich fillings and brisket burgers.
Briar patch Restaurant is a long-standing breakfast institution on Park Avenue in Winter Park that has fervent fans queuing up on peak weekend breakfast hours for the delectable cuisine. The contemporary chic eatery exudes a casual and relaxed ambiance with a menu to match. There are plenty of innovative breakfast dishes such as lump crab scramble, raspberry-and-brie-stuffed French toast, pork belly waffles, and Black Angus skirt steak and eggs.

Make sure to come for dinner and try their homemade desserts after brunch.
