Get ready, Lake Nona! Before It Melts is expanded to the area this month, bringing its signature mix of creamy nostalgia and creative flavors to a brand-new location. This popular ice cream shop is set to open its doors on Saturday, Aug. 10, offering a sweet escape with unique desserts that are sure to delight.
As part of the Tavistock Restaurant Collection, Before It Melts is launching its second brick-and-mortar shop at 6941 Lake Nona Blvd., right next to Park Pizza & Brewing Co. This new location follows the success of their food truck-style stand at Boxi Park, where they’ve quickly become a favorite among locals with their inventive ice cream flavors.
Famous For Its Imaginative Treats
Before It Melts is famous for its fun and imaginative treats, like the Blackout Taco—a charcoal vanilla ice cream topped with salted caramel ganache and black sprinkles, all nestled in a black waffle cone taco shell. The shop will also serve other creative flavors like Super Human, a playful spin on the classic Superman flavor, along with blueberry cheesecake, mint avalanche, and two vegan options: ultimate Oreo oat and electric watermelon Italian ice.
For those looking to add a bit of adult flair to their dessert, Before It Melts offers the option to spike your treat with a $5 boozy “pour-in.” Choose from a variety of liquors like Baileys, Grand Marnier, or Whipped Cream Vodka to give any cone, cup, or shake an extra kick.
