Kid’s Run
Kids are always welcome to participate! The kid’s runs are always free and recommended for children 12 and under. The distances for kids run range from 100 yards to 400 yards. Children are placed in age appropriate groups.
AdventHealth July 4th Watermelon 5k Food Drive
Be a part of the 5k AND make a difference! Track Shack is collecting non-perishable food items for the Orlando VA Medical Center’s VSO Food Pantry. Their goal is to collect 1000 food items! Please bring non- expired food to the Food Drive tent at the race.
Some examples of non-perishable food items they are looking for: tuna in foil packets, small jars of peanut butter and/or jelly, canned soup or chili (preferably with pop-top lids), and large juices like Gatorade.
Visit the AdventHealth Tents
AdventHealth will be providing tents after the finish line. Feel free to cool down after the 5k with an ice cold mini towel. Stay for the fun with yard games for the entire family.
Watermelon Eating Contest
You thought the fun was over after the 5k? That was only the beginning! Stick around for the Watermelon Eating Contest. 2 men & 2 women will be chosen to participate. All interested participants may sign up on race day at the Track Shack tent.
