SUMMARY:The Jeff Whipple Opening Exhibit At Mills Gallery
DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss the opening exhibit of artist Jeff Whipple at Mills Gallery Orlando on Friday\, February 10\, 2023 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Mills Gallery in Orlando\, Florida will be hosting an opening exhibit for the works of acclaimed artist Jeff Whipple. Over the course of his four plus decade career\, Jeff Whipple has created vastly acclaimed works of art that are highly creative and one of a kind; making his work immediately recognizable. \nHis hallmark style includes groupings of three short lines that have separated his art from any other works since the early 1980s. Jeff Whipple has had over 80 solo exhibitions in galleries\, colleges and museums including the Tampa Museum of Art\, the Gulf Coast Museum of Art\, the Museum of Art\, DeLand\, and the Boca Raton Museum of Art. Jeff’s art has been in oodles of group exhibitions across the country and has received over 50 top awards in various competitions and is currently on display at Mills Gallery in Orlando\, Florida. \nAbout the Art by Jeff Whipple\n“I use images and words to engage viewers in imaginative contemplation about the weirdness and beauty of our brief appearance in the infinity of time. Since 1980 when I began my professional career\, I’ve created 1000s of thought-provoking experiences for viewers using video\, sculpture\, painting\, installation\, performance\, writing\, and theater.” \n“My work is meant to be thought-provoking and it requests viewer engagement. The imagery or writing is meant to direct the interpretation to a theme but the specifics are left open. Each viewer will use their own life experiences to create their own ideas about what my artwork means or says and that will likely change on the next encounter. In that regard\, the viewer becomes a creator when they engage with my artwork.”

SUMMARY:Bárbara Pecorelli Opening Exhibition At Mills Gallery
DESCRIPTION:Bárbara Pecorelli Opening Exhibition At Mills Gallery\nMark your calendars for the Bárbara Pecorelli Opening Exhibition At Mills Gallery on February 24\, 2023\, Mills Art Gallery is pleased to present artwork on sale by artist Bárbara Pecorelli. Bárbara has developed a “sense of exploration with ceramic sculptures\, photography\, recycled/scrap material installations\, performances\, and paintings”. Her work’s one sole purpose is to bring environmental consciousness and mindful lifestyle transformations. \nArtist Bárbara Pecorelli at Mills Gallery\nBárbara Pecorelli is on display for the first time ever at Mills Art Gallery: Guarding the Garden. “Guarding the Garden” is an exhibition made up of sculptures that are made with recycled metals. It evokes to a search for what Bárbara has coined as “Conscious Art: an invitation to connect with being and essence\, letting go and surrendering to nature and beauty.” The materials that she used in her works include: metals\, and iron. These materials have been treated so that their impact is 100% ecological. Copper\, in addition to being an energy conductor\, eliminates 99.9% of viruses and bacteria present in the exposed places where they are found. Her work also combines academic principles of art\, human well-being as a philosophy\, nature and technology. \n  \n \n\nAbout the Art\n“I develop my talent with the greatest sense of responsibility\, honoring my creativity. Art has allowed me to understand my character in being able to give and create beyond pieces that can give a space a style. I have the ability to bring tangible creations\, concepts\, and projects that bring harmony to any environment and situation. My focus is in the direction of showing that no matter what we believe we are or what we want to do\, everything is possible with the art of subtlety” – Bárbara Pecorelli
