DESCRIPTION:Gala to Celebrate Ritz’ 100th Anniversary\nThe restored\, historic Ritz Theater Sanford is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a black tie/roaring 20s gala fundraiser street party and we invite the community to join us. It’s a Gala to Celebrate Ritz’ 100th Anniversary. The evening’s live entertainment will feature the Sanford Jazz Ensemble’s music through the decades (featuring singer Courtney Johnson) and an awards ceremony celebrating the Theater’s volunteer actor achievements. Guests will enjoy a catered buffet dinner by Top Hat Catering; street entertainment; a traditional silent auction with theater tickets\, a 70” Indoor/Outdoor Projector\, a backyard porch heater\, curated baskets\, and other great items. \nAn “online silent auction” will feature an 8-Day Viking River Cruise-Rhine Getaway valued at $8\,000 provided by donors Mary Trotter of Viking Cruises and Jeff Page of Cruise Planners\, both will be at the event.
