Join us on Wednesday\, May 10th and find out! \nGuided by Craig Colagrossi of Colagrossi Wines in Windsor\, California\, we will taste a finished Cabernet Sauvignon as well as five sample wines. Craig will then walk us through the artful science of how to perfectly blend or “finish” a wine for its bottling and release. \nDiscovering what pleases our palate and understanding the methodology of wine blending will help us create our own masterpiece. We will then have the opportunity to purchase a bottle of our own personal signature blend from the winery. \nWe will gather in person at Winter Park Community Center while our host appears remotely to walk us through the process. The Senator\, at more than 3000 years old\, is easily Central Florida’s oldest tourist attraction and can still be seen today at Big Tree Park in Seminole County’s Spring Hammock Preserve near Longwood.

This is a free event that is family and pet friendly to support the community. \nPersimmon Hollow Brewing Company\nTwo guys who love to laugh and get a little weird\, Robbie and Andy met in 2011 and quickly realized a mutual passion for beer\, food\, fun\, and friendship. What began as a weekend hobby for the two grew quickly with medals won and friends clamoring to try their brews\, and before long the seeds of Persimmon Hollow Brewing had been sown. \nThose seeds grew\, and their dream became a reality in 2014 with the opening of the original brewery and taproom in DeLand\, FL. \nPersimmon Hollow Brewing became a place to gather for fun\, a place to escape the pressures of life\, a place for all people to feel welcomed\, and a place to gather to give back to the community through educational and environmental causes. Persimmon Hollow’s beer quickly found its way into taps and store shelves\, and today can be found throughout Florida.

DESCRIPTION:Bárbara Pecorelli Opening Exhibition At Mills Gallery\nMark your calendars for the Bárbara Pecorelli Opening Exhibition At Mills Gallery on February 24\, 2023\, Mills Art Gallery is pleased to present artwork on sale by artist Bárbara Pecorelli. Bárbara has developed a “sense of exploration with ceramic sculptures\, photography\, recycled/scrap material installations\, performances\, and paintings”. Her work’s one sole purpose is to bring environmental consciousness and mindful lifestyle transformations. \nArtist Bárbara Pecorelli at Mills Gallery\nBárbara Pecorelli is on display for the first time ever at Mills Art Gallery: Guarding the Garden. “Guarding the Garden” is an exhibition made up of sculptures that are made with recycled metals. It evokes to a search for what Bárbara has coined as “Conscious Art: an invitation to connect with being and essence\, letting go and surrendering to nature and beauty.” The materials that she used in her works include: metals\, and iron. These materials have been treated so that their impact is 100% ecological. Copper\, in addition to being an energy conductor\, eliminates 99.9% of viruses and bacteria present in the exposed places where they are found. Her work also combines academic principles of art\, human well-being as a philosophy\, nature and technology. \n  \n \n\nAbout the Art\n“I develop my talent with the greatest sense of responsibility\, honoring my creativity.
