SUMMARY:Downtown Arts District Mural Festival
DESCRIPTION:Downtown Arts District Mural Festival\nDowntown Arts District and CityArts are holding a two-day mural festival on September 19 and 20.\nOn September 19 at our monthly 3rd Thursday event. We will have different muralists painting 8 x 8 walls on Magnolia Ave. This is a chance for the artists to paint live in front of peers in the community. \nOn Friday evening the event will culminate with a muralist team challenge. This event will have judges\, multiple DJs\, bars\, and food trucks. The audience will have the deciding vote for the team winner\, so invite all your friends and family to come out and cheer for your team. \nThe team leaders will be hand-selected and they will randomly choose their teammates. Ensuring a greater chance of working with muralists with whom they are not yet familiar. \nDifferent DJ’s will be spinning as well. Mark your calendars and save the date. \nCityArts Café Gallery\nThe CityArts Café Gallery offers a delightful blend of art and ambiance within the cozy confines of the café. Nestled within the café’s relaxed atmosphere\, this gallery provides a unique opportunity to savor a diverse selection of artworks\, while enjoying your favorite beverages and treats. With a rotating collection of captivating pieces\, ranging from paintings to mixed media creations\, it’s an ideal setting for art enthusiasts and café-goers alike to immerse themselves in the world of visual creativity.
