It traces baseball’s past from the sport’s early years\, through the 1919 Black Sock scandal and the Jazz Age\, the rise of the Negro Leagues\, the establishment of the Women’s Baseball League\, and the trailblazing career of Jackie Robinson. \nOpera at Bat\nOpera at Bat will include selections from the show intertwined with historical commentary from Orange County Regional History Center staff focusing on surprising ties to the Central Florida area.\nAdmission is free.
