Paul Taylor and Michael Lington will join forces to co-headline the City of Casselberry’s Sunset Jazz & Art Festival on Saturday, Sept. 25, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Lake Concord Park. Taylor is a smooth jazz saxophonist who has released 11 albums since his 1995 debut “On the Horn” in 1995. He has collaborated with many R&B vocalists including Regina Bell, Peabo Bryson and Maxi Priest. Lington, a Danish-American contemporary saxophonist, songwriter, has released 11 solo albums and has 25 singles that have charted on the contemporary jazz radio charts.
Before Taylor and Lington take the stage, Billboard-charting bass player Rohan Reid will get the show rocking. The third of seven children, born in Kingston, Jamaica, Reid started playing the bass guitar at the age of six. He was viewed as a child prodigy and eventually became one of the most sought-after musicians in the Caribbean and toured with Eric Darius, Jimmy Cliff and Irene Cara.
