Blue Jacket Park gets its name from the fact that for 30+ years, this park served as the Orlando Naval Training Center with service personnel on-site known as “Blue Jackets.” However, the City of Orlando designated it to be a public park in for people to enjoy in the early 2000’s and kept the name Blue Jacket Park. It’s inviting 75 acres provide ample tables, benches and open green space to fully relax and unwind with light bites. Be sure to soak up the gorgeous shimmering fountains and shady oak trees to fully enjoy the experience
