6. The Brass Tap

In 2007, three business partners and friends from the restaurant world created a vision for the “Ultimate Beer Bar.” They recognized the explosive growth in the craft beer market and appreciated the simplicity of operating a beer bar verses a full-service restaurant and began creating The Brass Tap. The garden and historical home were donated to the City of Orlando in 1961 by Mr. Harry P. Leu and his wife, Mary Jane.

 

10. Orlando Fire Museum

The Randall R. Tuten Orlando Fire Museum, formerly Station 3, reopened in 2002 after the Orlando Fire Department assumed ownership from the Historical Society of Central Florida.

The two-story, red brick firehouse was initially located on Orlando Avenue, near Dade Street, in College Park from 1926 – 1978.
