Pagliacci/Pulcinella @ Opera Orlando

 

Featuring Opera Orlando principal performers Brian Cheney as Canio, Suzanne Kantorski as Nedda, Alex Mansoori as Beppe, Daniel Scofield as Tonio, and James Wright as Silvio with stage director Octavio Cardenas

Presented in partnership with local Victorian performance troupe Phantasmagoria, featuring musicians from the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and choristers from the Opera Orlando Youth Company, conducted by Clinton Smith.

Pagliacci by Ruggero Leoncavallo and Pulcinella, the ballet by Igor Stravinsky after music by Giambattista Pergolesi, sung in Italian with English supertitles.

Performances run approximately two hours with one intermission. A pre-show lecture is provided 45 minutes prior to each performance, free for all ticket holders.  As an added bonus, Opera Orlando will be announcing its 2019-20 season with a special season subscription offer for all Pagliacci/Pulcinella ticket holders.
