Traditionally, Fourth of July celebrations in the US go off with a bang. However, this year, Fourth of July things are going to be a little different with COVID-19 and social distancing. Recently, Florida bars were ordered to stop serving alcohol after Coronavirus cases have spiked across America. Also, many fireworks displays have been canceled. So what CAN you do for the Fourth of July 2020 in Orlando? Here is what you need to know:

What Places are Open in Orlando During COVID-19?

The Crayola ExperienceThe Crayola Experience in The Florida Mall has reopened. However, attendance will be limited by 50% capacity. Face coverings are required and you must get your temperature checked.

GatorlandGatorland is open daily 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Masks are also required in accordance with Orange County’s face covering mandate. Social distancing will be enforced.

Wonderworks – WonderWorks has opened its doors with increased sanitization and social-distancing guides, plus a face-covering requirement to comply with the countywide mandate. Open daily 10 a.m.-10 p.m.

What Florida Beaches are Open for July 2020?

Brevard County – Social distancing is in full effect in Brevard County Beaches. These beaches include Cocoa Beach, Melbourne Beach, Cape Canaveral, and Satellite Beach.

Volusia County– Face coverings and social distancing is HIGHLY encouraged at Volusia County Beaches. These beaches will be opening this weekend including Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, and New Smyrna Beach.

Go Fishing in one of the Lakes – Go fishing this Fourth of July Weekend. Try Mosquito Lagoon for redfish and trout, or head to one of Central Florida’s lakes such as Lake Jessup.

Go Bike Riding – Central Florida has many great trails for biking, including the Seminole Wekiva Trail, Cady Way Trail, Little Econ Greenway, West Orange Trail and Cross Seminole Trail.

Have a Backyard Barbeque – stay home this July 4 with the family and host a backyard barbeque. Bust out your grill and throw on some hot dogs, burgers and ribs.
